Glendale Culinary Excels at State Leadership Conference

Recently, Glendale High's culinary FCCLA chapter traveled to Tucson to attend and compete at our annual State Leadership Conference and we brought home a few awards!
Carolina Verdugo - 1st place - Gold Medal - Baking and Pastry - $2,000 renewable scholarship to the Culinary Institute of America and she will be representing Arizona in competition at the National Leadership Conference this summer in Denver!
Arianna Frank - 2nd place - Gold Medal - Baking and Pastry - $1,500 renewable scholarship to the Culinary Institute of America and she will also be representing Arizona in competition at the National Leadership Conference this summer in Denver!
Ashley Martinez Villa - 6th place - Gold medal - Job Interview
Manouny Ouatara - 8th place - Gold Medal - Job Interview
Ricardo Elizarraraz - 4th place - Gold medal - Chicken Fabrication
Jae'Marie Newton - 4th place - Silver medal - Culinary Arts
Nikole Parra - 8th place - Silver medal - Culinary Arts
Dayanara Castro - Silver Medal - Cupcake Decorating
Argelia Aguilera - Silver Medal - Culinary Display
Itzanami Ramos and Elianet Piedra also competed in Cake Decorating and Soanja Basha competed in Cupcake Decorating and they all did a wonderful job!
Our Glendale Culinary FCCLA Chapter also received an Outstanding Chapter Award.
