PARENT UNIVERSITY 2026

Glendale Union High School District invites families to Parent University, a series of workshops designed to support parents as their teens navigate high school. Trusted experts lead these sessions and focus on real challenges students face today. Families can explore resource tables hosted by community partners, enjoy door prizes at each event, and access Spanish translation services to ensure all families feel supported.

The next Parent University workshop will be held at Apollo High School on February 3 from 5–7 PM. This event is free and open to all GUHSD families.

Glendale Band and Orchestra Selected for Community Involvement Award

Music for All selected the Glendale Band and Orchestra for a 2026 Community Involvement Award. GHS has been offering music as part of the curriculum since 1913 and is committed to providing high quality music education for vocal and instrumental music. This award is part of the Advocacy in Action program designed to collect, recognize, and share effective practices and initiatives that support music education in our schools. Congratulations to all of our Cardinal Musicians and Music Educators!
