Glendale Culinary Students Excel at C-CAP

Three Glendale students competed in the C-CAP (Careers through Culinary Arts Program) Preliminary Competition and the results are in.
Out of 160 competitors statewide, Rihanna Jefferson and Isa Lopez both advanced to the final competition this March. Only 30 seniors in the state advanced to the finals. Both Isa and Rihanna are now guaranteed to win a scholarship(s) worth anywhere from $1,000 to $134,000 depending on which school awards them a scholarship.
Argelia Aguilera also competed as a Junior and has been recognized as one of the Top Ten Juniors in the State. She is now in competition for a summer scholarship to the Culinary Institute of New York at Monroe College.
