If your student is absent from school, a parent/guardian must call the attendance office at (623) 435-6201 or (623) 435-6233 (Spanish).  You may call this office at anytime day or night. If a call cannot be made, please bring a note from a parent/guardian to the attendance office on the day of your return.  Calls and notes should state the student's name, ID#, date of excused absence, and the reason for the absence.  Any absence not excused will be considered a truancy and subject to discipline.

If your student has an appointment and must leave school early, they must obtain a checkout pass in the attendance office BEFORE SCHOOL.  Checking out early requires a call from a parent/guardian or a note stating the time and reason for early checkout.  Parent/Guardians will be asked to show ID for the student checkout.
