Glendale High School wins $5000 and a visit from the Taco Bell Taco Trucks in Taco Bell’s GRADUATE FOR MAS national competition!

After ten long weeks of competition, we are pleased to announce the national and regional winners of the 2013 Graduate for Más Promise Challenge!  With over 1,000 schools competing across the nation, it was a very close competition for the three top national prizes, five schools had maximum points, and the top spots in each of our regions.  The Graduate for Más Promise Challenge aimed to rally students together to make the commitment to stay in school and graduate.  Students really rose to the challenge and responded enthusiastically.  More than 30,000 students made the promise to graduate and updated us on their progress toward that goal by checking in at Graduate for Más.

We watched schools and student leaders create sign up drives, hold in-school events to motivate student participation and rally their peers through Twitter and Facebook.  We were reminded every day about the power of student leadership throughout the Challenge.

In the end, only three schools came out on top and took the top prize: A Taco Bell Taco Truck Party!

Congratulations to the staff and students at:

  • Fannin County High School (Georgia)
  • Glendale High School (Arizona)
