I grew up in the industrious town of Meadville, Pennsylvania, 80 miles north of Pittsburgh and from an early age I admired the profession teaching.  I am very excited to be in the classroom as a teacher.

I was also very interested in media and attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania to study broadcasting.  I traveled to Los Angeles and began my career at NBC studios for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  It was there I found film and video editing to be a good fit for me.  I cooperated with Video Symphony, an editing training school in Burbank, as a salaried department director and student.  This was pivotal for my broadcast career and reintroduced me to the education profession.

I have edited professionally for 10 years.  I have various credits from television and film.  Some popular productions include HGTV-Crafters Coast to Coast, Universal Television-Blind Date, Mandalay Pictures-The Beat, MTV-Wanna Come In, and Fox TV-Live Like a Star.  I am beginning my 7th year as a CTE teacher for Glendale High School, teaching Interactive Digital Media.

The main support, of my teaching, that my broadcasting career enables, is showing students how to apply what they learn in the classroom, to the real world.  I bring a high level of industry knowledge to my CTE classroom and my experience offers me credibility with students, parents, faculty, and all district persons.
